Richard Allred is the Best Selling Author of Purify: What Clean Water Teaches Us about Making Smarter Decisions in Business and in Life.
Richard is President & CEO of ATS, a company that has provided innovative solutions to protect and treat the world's water since 1979. He has over 25 years of experience dealing with water issues affecting municipal, military, semiconductor, power generation, agriculture, mining, oil and gas, refinery, and food processing industries.
Richard was inspired to take over ATS from his father after serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Brazil. He realized the best way he could help people in Brazil was by providing them with clean water. Richard then expanded his charitable operations to West Africa and the Philippines.
Richard is an eternal optimist, who believes in continual improvement both personally and professionally. He enjoys finding solutions to complex problems and inspiring confidence, optimism, and creativity in his employees and partners. Richard and his wife Cara live in Utah with their six children.
